Four arrested and one person seriously injured after fight in Grantham on Friday

A man was taken to hospital with serious injuries after a large fight broke out in Grantham on Friday (26 June) evening.

Lincolnshire Police are now appealing for witnesses following the incident in Medway Avenue.

A force spokesman said: "Officers were called to Medway Avenue, Grantham, on Friday evening, 26 June, to reports of a large disturbance in the street.

"One man was taken to hospital with serious injuries.

"Two men, aged 50 and 33, and two women, aged 49 and 33, from the area have been arrested for a public order offence of causing an affray at around 8.30 pm.

"They have been released on bail.

"We are appealing for anyone who witnessed the incident or is in possession of any CCTV, dash cam or mobile phone footage to contact us."
