Co-operate is an online community centre bringing people in Grantham together to make good things happen. Whether you want to find things to do, volunteer, join a group or set up your own – it’s for people who care about their community and want to join forces to get things done.
Co-operate helps build stronger communities where people are more connected. There are over 20,000 people, including 11,000 groups, sharing ways to get involved and support each other. Created with local communities, by local communities and for local communities.
You can find out about and get involved with local groups, such as the Grantham branch of Parkinson’s UK, which benefits from funding raised by Co-op members. This funding helps to pay for events, outings and the hire of the group’s local meeting place. Grantham and its surrounding area is believed to have approximately 150 people with the condition and the Grantham branch of the charity helps people from Bottesford, Caythorpe, Long Bennington, Colsterworth and Corby Glenn.
You can also list or join local groups and activities, recruit volunteers or volunteer yourself.
