A personal plea to follow the Prime Minister's guidelines concerning Coronavirus has been made by Councillor Kelham Cooke, the leader of South Kesteven District Council.

Coun Cooke has made the plea on the website of South Kesteven District, which also details how council services are being affected and what SKDC is doing to help residents.

He said: "I am making a personal plea to all residents to do exactly what the Prime Minister has asked, for the sake of all our health.

"Only by complying with these restrictions can we hope to limit the spread of Coronavirus to protect ourselves, our families and our communities, and buy our amazing NHS valuable time to prepare and respond."

His full message can be found

here on the SKDC website. This web page also hosts details of SKDC's current service levels for the benefit of residents, as the coronavirus situation continues to develop rapidly. The page, which will be updated regularly, includes useful links to help keep residents stay in touch with the latest health advice. In addition, the council's economic growth and regeneration company, InvestSK, has set up a website offering information and advice to the business community.
