A bank in Grantham has had to close temporarily after a member of staff was tested positive with Covid-19.

Warning signs have been posted in the St Peter's Hill branch of Lloyds Bank, also advising recent customers that they may need to seek advice from the government website on the pandemic.

A spokesman for Lloyds Bank told Nub News: "We have temporarily closed the Lloyds Bank Grantham branch to allow for the building to be cleaned, after a colleague was diagnosed with Covid-19.

"Our priority is the wellbeing of our colleagues and customers. We will continue to follow Government guidance, and have taken the precautionary steps to advise some colleagues to self-isolate. We will re-open the branch at the appropriate time."
