Belvoir Castle to light up the Vale with Bonfire Night spectacular

A spectacular display of pyrotechnics at Belvoir Castle's Engine Yard will light up the Vale of Belvoir on Saturday, 2 November to celebrate Bonfire Night.

Visitors to the Regency castle, home to the Duke and Duchess of Rutland, can wrap up warm and enjoy an evening of dazzling fireworks from the team behind one of the best firework events in the UK, Firework Champions.

A range of outdoor food stalls provided by the popular Fuel Tank, will provide festive favourites such as delicious toffee apples, hog roast, classics burgers and hot dogs, vegetarian options and a host of hot drinks and beverages.

Visitors can also enjoy entertainment from live bands throughout the evening.

Nicola Wheeler, of Belvoir Castle, says: "We are really looking forward to welcome back world-class producers MLE Pyrotechnics for our Belvoir Bonfire & Fireworks.

"The Firework Championships event at Belvoir Castle earlier in the year proved a huge hit and we hope for the same again for Guy Fawkes Night celebration.

"We invite adults and children alike to the Vale to enjoy a spectacular evening of dazzling displays, tuck into delicious food, warm themselves around the bonfire and join us in celebrating what is a truly wonderful time of the year."

Doors open at 5.30pm, the bonfire will be lit at 6pm, followed by fireworks at 7.15pm.

Afterwards, visitors are invited to enjoy fantastic live music and cocktails in The Balloon Bar at the Engine Yard until 10.30pm.

Tickets for the Belvoir Bonfire & Fireworks are £10 for adults, £5 for children, and £25 for a family ticket (two adults and two children).
