Downloading the new Co-op Membership app will not only help shoppers in the Grantham area make great savings, but also gives a boost to local causes in the town.

More than one million Co-op Members have now downloaded the app, which gives them extra value with in-store promotions and personalised special offers. They also receive 2p in every pound back into their personal Membership rewards balance when they buy own-brand groceries.

The Co-op Local Community Fund has helped 4,500 local causes up and down the country.

Parkinson's UK in Grantham is one of the many causes that has felt the benefit of this fund.

Parkinson's UK is a national charity that delivers support to those affected by Parkinson's, including their carers and families. They provide information on the condition and host events for local communities.

The Grantham branch of Parkinson's UK is one of the 4,500 causes across the UK receiving a share of £15m raised by Co-op Members. This funding has been invaluable to the organisation, helping to pay for instructors to lead a variety of events and the hire of their local meeting place.
